While I wouldn’t say it’s sculpt screams Hugh Jackman, it’s feral enough to pass off as dear ol’ Logan.
He comes with all you see here. Not a lot in terms of accessories, but sufficient for his character. I’m glad that Hot Toys are including an extra set of wrist pegs with their figures these days.
While the material of his brown jacket is nicely weathered and worn, I hope it holds up over time.
The thickness of his jacket does hamper shoulder movement though. Elbows move fine but I would suggest removing the jacket first to understand the elbow articulation, as you may risk damaging it with a wrong angle of rotation.
When the jacket comes off, you have him in a nicely tailored and fitted shirt.
Here he is in his wife beater, which is a look largely associated with the promo materials from the movie.
I like the details on the muscular body, sculpt and popping veins especially, though some people might be turned off by the exposed shoulder and elbow joints.
I won’t be removing the wife beater from this figure for photos, as I had problems with over-stretching clothing while fitting them on an earlier Hot Toys Muscular Body.
Finally, striking his iconic pose.
With 1:6 Medicom Wolverine, which was a decent Wolverine for it’s time.
If you can, I would strongly recommend picking up one of NewRay’s 1:6 bikes, which make a great accessory/accompanying display, and commonly go for about quarter of the price of the Wolverine figure.
