Happy fourth month, Son.
You love it when Mum talks to you in a cheery voice and you respond with much glee.
At 3.5 months you started turning left and right. More to your right and you ended up in a prayer pose. You grip both your hands together and seem fascinated with being able to do so.
Then just before your fourth month, you managed to turn over and land on your tummy. At first you couldn’t lift your head up and ended up repeatedly burying your face on the bed.
You’d be frustrated and squeal in anger when you were ‘trapped’ and we would have to bail you out.
But the next few days you started to master the art of propping your head up and looking around. These pictures show you propped up on your bolster though. This reaffirms our assertion that your neck is very strong. It’s really cute when you keep looking around at us, then give up when you’re exhausted.
You still haven’t learnt how to flip back but we look forward to see you rolling around.
Mum and Dad bought you loads of toys recently and they come in handy when entertaining you.
Dad enjoys bringing you to his toy room, playing guitar for you as well as sharing his music with you. This is you guarding Dad’s toy room.
A lot of people comment you look like Dad, with Mum’s eyes. Dad decided to shave his head to look more like you as well as address his long-time receding hairline.
To sign off, here’s a composition of pix of you and Dad at around the same age.
Love you always, Son.
