It’s been quite a few months since I wrote to you, Son.
Ever since you started walking, we have had an amazing amount of fun with you.
This was your first time up the stairs when we visited a park in Melbourne.
This is you during grocery shopping.
And this is you climbing up your chair.
I really enjoy the Saturday morning playground sessions with you.
You’ve also started to recognise and say random words in your 14th month.
Your first sentence was “Twinkle twinkle little star”
You’ve come to recognise more words since then and babble unintelligibly.
We had many firsts in your 17th month, namely you taking your first cable car ride, and visiting Anchorvale swimming complex for the first time.
We love how you laugh which just melts our hearts.
Your favourite songs are currently ‘The Wheels of the Bus’, ‘Incy Wincy Spider’ and ‘Wind your bobbin up’ where you’ll do the accompanying hand gestures.
You are headstrong, stubborn and getting very naughty as well, and I believe these are signs that your terrible twos stage is coming on. Mum and I will make sure we tag team effectively to discipline you and we have no qualms about beating you when you do wrong things and throw tantrums.
It’s been a great pleasure documenting how you’ve grown, Son.
